Memorial Day marks the official start of summer, but it's also a time to recognize and remember those who have died performing their military duties serving in the United States Armed Forces. Love Food Truck & Red Angel Duo | Bishop Estate 

When: Monday, May 30, 11 am – 6 pm
Where: 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie, PA

Enjoy live music, great food and amazing wines at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery. Red Angel Duo will be playing acoustic from 1-5 pm. The Love Food Truck will be on site from 12-6 pm. There are over 20 wines to choose from and 3-5 local beers on tap for the non-wine lovers. There is no cover charge for music.

Memorial Main Street Mile

When: Monday, May 30, 8 am
Where: Main Street, Yardley, PA

Celebrate Memorial Day with a chip-timed 1-mile race on Main Street in historic Yardley Borough to benefit American Legion Post 317. The Memorial Main Street Mile race will begin at Wells Fargo Bank (225 South Main Street) and finishes at the Yardley Meeting House (25 North Main Street).

Memorial Day Weekend Celebration at Sesame Place

When: May 29-30
Where: 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA

Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at Sesame Place. Don't miss photos with Elmo dressed in festive red, white and blue all weekend. Rock out with Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster and Count von Count as their music fills the air. Watch Memorial Day fireworks on May 29th at 9 pm. There are multiple viewing areas throughout the park.

Memorial Day at Rice's Market

Memorial Day Ceremony | Washington Crossing Park

When: Sunday, May 29, 1-2 pm
Where: 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA

Washington Crossing Historic Park is holding its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Sunday, May 29th at the gravesite of the Continental soldiers located near the Thompson-Neely House. The observation will include a colonial color guard, fife and drum music, Revolutionary War reenactors, veterans, and other honored guests – with the keynote address being given by USAF veteran Frank Lyons. At the ceremony, the Daughters of the American Revolution will dedicate a plaque at the original gravesite of 24-year-old Captain Lieutenant James Moore.

Memorial Day Remembrance | Washington Crossing National Cemetery

When: Monday, May 30, 10 am
Where: 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA

Participate in a Memorial Day Remembrance event at the base of the main flag pole at 10 am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

BBQ and Beers on the Patio

When: May 27, 6-9 pm
Where: Spring Mill Country Club & Manor, 80 Jacksonville Road, Ivyland, PA

Kick off Memorial Day weekend at the annual BBQ and Beers on the Patio event at Spring Mill Country Club. Enjoy all-you-can-eat BBQ feast in a picnic atmosphere. Options include chicken, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, baked beans, corn on the cob and all the fixings. There will be live entertainment with Mike Brill on the guitar. Draft beer specials are on the list. The event fee is $23 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Kids are half price under age 12. Every year on Memorial Day, many CrossFit gyms, military members, veterans, and civilians participate in the MURPH workout to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation. The workout consists of a mile run, followed by 300 air squats, 200 push-ups, 100 pull-ups, and ends with another mile run.
