As you may know, the Newtown Brewfest is October 17th, and it sold out in a matter of hours!!!  For those of you who missed out, there is another opportunity to partake in beer festivities the very same day. The first year for this event, Oktoberfest will be taking place at Makefield Highlands Golf Club.  Festivities include auctions, music and a gourmet German Buffet.   The downside is that it's a cash bar; the upside is that this is a charity event.  All proceeds of this event directly benefit the Neighborhood Outreach Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that provides assistance to community members in need.
