Rocky Horror Show

Rocky-Horror-Pic-ShowThe Rocky Horror Show is back and better than ever! The musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his “perfect creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

Sing Your ALS Off
The Standard Club, 127 E State St, Doylestown
7:00pm- 10:00pm

This event is to benefit the foundation created by Jay Smith, a Doylestown Native and graduate of Central Bucks West who has been diagnosed with ALS. His foundation, Every90Minutes.org, raises funds for research into a cure for this disease. Jamie Stem, of the band Sinch, will also be performing. There will also be food, 50/50, silent auction and lots of singing. Cost is $25 per person

Mercer by Moonlight Tours
Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine St, Doylestown
7:00pm & 8:00pm

What lurks in the shadows of the Mercer Castle? Discover the history and folklore of some of the museum’s more chilling or ghoulish objects, including the hearse, the gallows, “witch” doctor’s canes, brooms, and more on this seasonal night time tour. Family friendly for ages 8 and up. Light refreshments following tour. Tickets for non-members are $12 for adults and $10 for youth 12 and under. Tickets for members are $10 for adults and $8 for youth 12 and under.

Familiy Hayride
Tamanend Park Pavilions, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton
6:30pm

Upper Southampton Parks & Recreation will host a Family Friendly, Land of Kandy Hayride.. Join in for this special event and take a walk down the spooky trail, grab a pumpkin on the pumpkin hunt, enjoy live music, games, vendors and a campfire. Proceeds benefit The Centennial Education Foundation. $8.00 per person the day of event and kids under 3 are free.

Light the Night Walk Campaign
Bucks County Community College, Newtown
4:30pm

Light the Night is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s signature evening fundraising walk that celebrates and commemorates lives touched by blood cancer. Friends, families, and corporate and community partners form walk teams to raise awareness and money for LLS to continue to fund local cancer research, and to provide patients and their families with critical services. This beautiful evening walk is only 1.5 to 2 miles long.

Families will enjoy amusements in the inflatable amusement garden, pony rides, Radio Disney, and Youth 2 Community performances! Stop by the Food Truck Pavilion or take a peak at artistically carved pumpkins done by area artists.

Canal-O-Ween
Delaware Canal, N Edgewater Ave, Yardley

Carving, lighting, and strolling by jack-o-lanterns since 2009! A week-long traditional-style Halloween lighting of jack-o-lanterns along the Delaware Canal. Bucks County residents can enjoy the beauty of the season within the natural setting of the Canal itself. The carve-a-thon is scheduled for Sunday October 26 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m
