The New Hope-Solebury Community Association is celebrating 60 years of The New Hope Automobile Show, with a weekend celebration Friday, August 11; Saturday, August 12; and Sunday, August 13.

Due to construction at the show location, the New Hope-Solebury High School, The New Hope Automobile Show will be one day only, Sunday, August 13, 2017. The show remains a full weekend event, however, with additional activities to entertain and honor 60 years of one of the east coast’s premier car shows. Automobile Show Weekend Returns with

  • Whitewall – Black Tie Cocktail Party Friday, August 11
  • Vintage & Classic Road Rally Saturday, August 12
  • Antique and Classic Auto Show Sunday, August 13

The New Hope Automobile Show weekend kicks off Friday, August 11, 2017 with the Whitewall – Black Tie Cocktail Party featuring Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra at Hotel du Village. Tickets to the Whitewall – Black Tie Cocktail Party are $125.00 per person. Events continue Saturday, August 12, 2017, with a Vintage & Classic Road Rally, open to all wishing to take their vehicles to the open road for a non-timed adventure. Sunday, August 13, 2017, brings The New Hope Automobile Show itself, held on the grounds of the New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA. Awards are presented to first, second, and third place winners in over 50 categories. At 2:30 pm, winners participate in the Parade of Champions. All vehicles entered must be judge-ready.

“We’re known for presenting a completely different show each day,” said Steve Williams, a committee member of The New Hope Automobile Show. “Due to the construction at the school, this year we’re presenting two shows in one day. All marquees, foreign and domestic, classic and antique, will be on display and all will undergo the same high standards of judging with awards presented to first, second and third place winners in over 50 categories. At 2:30 pm, winners participate in the Parade of Champions. With the Whitewall Black Tie Cocktail Party and the Vintage Road Rally, it’s a great way to spend a weekend.”

Proceeds provide funds for scholarships to New Hope-Solebury High School seniors as well as to the cancer research of Fox Chase Cancer Center. The New Hope Automobile Show also supports other charitable organizations by partnering with them during the Show, with many providing volunteers to produce the Show, run concessions, park cars and more.
