It’s the most delicious time of the year in Bucks County – FALL! A time for football games, crisp autumn air, boots & scarves, and pumpkin spice everything. Steam Pub of Southampton knows exactly what we’re excited about and is delivering some fantastic fall treats. The cozy tavern with a unique history offers a unique variety of craft beers, specialty cocktails, and constantly rotating specials menu. With comfortable and inviting indoor and outdoor seating, you can enjoy the fresh autumn weather outside for lunch, and a nice warm evening inside. Martin Hoeger, one of the owners of Steam Pub, is giving us the scoop on their fall favorites.

The pub’s autumn offerings include favorites like the Pumpkin Pie Martini, shaken to perfection with salted caramel vodka, pumpkin spice liqueur, cinnamon cream liqueur, house-made pumpkin pie puree and cinnamon syrup, with a caramel syrup glaze and brown sugar rim.

For a drink that will warm you up, sip on the Headless Horsemen. This cozy beverage is anything but scary and includes fresh-brewed coffee spiked with Pumpkin Spice Liqueur and Pennsylvania Dutch Pumpkin Cream Liqueur, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon syrup drizzle.

New this year is the Pistachio Almond Martini, rimmed with caramel and crumbled pistachios, a “How ‘Bout Them Apples” mule with green apple vodka, ginger beer, and fresh squeezed lemon, a White Pear Sangria with St. Germain Elderflower liquor, and a Spiced Chai Tea Latte with cinnamon cream liquor, just to name a few! If you’re more of a beer drinker, they have you covered. Their draft menu is extensive and continuously rotating. You can expect beers like Great Lakes Oktoberfest and Nosferatu, Spring House Braaaiins! Pumpkin Ale, Southern Tier Pumking and many more.

And there is plenty of delicious food to enjoy with your seasonal beverage of choice. Martin explains their fall menu philosophy, “We always try for a food menu geared towards what the season offers. We like to offer great comfort foods, warm and hearty… to help us get us get fat for the winter.” Some of these new additions include Shepard’s Pie, Meatloaf, a delectable Fig Salad, and a Fall Harvest salad.

Beyond scrumptious food and unique beverages, Steam Pub is also offering a calendar packed full of events. With Lip Sync Battles on Wednesdays, DJ’s on Fridays and live music on Saturdays, there is plenty to do on the weekends. And don’t forget about Steam Pub’s Halloween party on Saturday the 29th, complete with a costume contest, cash prizes, and music by DJ Smooth.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the autumn season at Steam Pub is their Victory Beer Dinner being held on October 25th at 6:30pm! This dinner will include a 5-course meal paired with 5 Victory Brewing company beers. The event will have classic German style fare paired with crisp pilsners, an Oktoberfest and more. Course three includes knockwurst sausage wrapped in pretzel dough stuffed with sauerkraut, paired with Victory’s Festbier Oktoberfest. Course four is a pork loin stuffed with a cranberry walnut cornbread stuffing, served over quarter roasted herb potatoes with a cherry infused demi glace with almond bourbon glazed string beans and paired with Victory’s Prima Pils. Of course no dinner is complete with a mouthwatering desert! You’ll be served a warm almond and cherry tart, with french vanilla ice cream, paired with Victory’s Kirsch Gose, a bright and bold cherry pilsner. If that’s not enough to convince you, check out the full 5-course beer dinner description on their website!
