This past weekend, Saturday, August 6th, 2011, we shared a delicious evening, feasting on the bounty of Bucks County, along with hundreds of local supporters of Bucks County's Heritage Conservancy.  This year was the 3rd annual Farm to Table event held on the gorgeous grounds of Lindsay Farm in Warminster.

Acclaimed chefs Chris Tavares and David Zuckerman of Earl’s Bucks County and Luke Smithson of Jamie Hollander Gourmet prepared a delectable dinner prepared entirely from food grown and produced locally.

Hors d’oeuvres and a buffet-style meal were enjoyed on the farm's rustic outdoor setting, followed by amazing desserts provided by Owow Cow Creamery, the Bucks County-based creamery who has developed a loyal following for its small-batch, all-local, all-organic artisanal creations.

All the hard work from the Conservancy and its volunteers (including yours truly!) paid off. Attendees enjoyed a one-of-a-kind “Bucks County” experience, all while raising money for a cause close to the heart of the community- preserving the beautiful lands of Bucks County.
