Historic Craven Hall

Historic Craven Hall is offering interested individuals an opportunity to cook a Colonial-style meal using 18th century tools, recipes and methods.

Set in the ambience of this lovely mansion, with the home’s massive cooking hearth taking center stage, this wonderful afternoon of food and history will take place from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 12th. . Open to novice and expert cooks alike, class participants will have a hands-on experience guided by Lin Schreiner, an experienced Bucks County food historian and chef. This is a fundraiser to benefit restoration and educational programs at Craven Hall.

Best of all…at the end of the day… you and your invited guests can enjoy the fruits of your labor! Class size is limited and reservations are required for this intimate and fun class. Payment of $35.00 per student is needed one week prior to the class. Checks should be made out to: Craven Hall Historical Society and mailed to Lin Schreiner, 5 Fiaba Court, Doylestown PA 18901. Dress code: casual, work clothes and comfortable shoes.
