With just a little over a week left before Father's Day 2010, it's time to start planning the big day! How are you going to celebrate on June 20? Check out Bucks Happening's list of suggestions for making 2010 the best Father's Day yet!

1. Head to the Bucks County Zoo in Warminster & enjoy free admission for dads!

2. Raise a glass for dad!  Check out Wine Tasting for Dads at Crossing Vineyards Saturday, June 19, 1:00 pm. $55 (+tax &gratuity) includes a five-course gourmet food and wine pairing. Or head to Chaddsford Winery 10am to 9pm on Saturday or 11am to 6pm on Sunday for complimentary wine flights for dads. If dad is more of a beer guy, head to Triumph for a sampler before walking around New Hope or check out a tasting & tour at River Horse Brewery & then stroll along the canal.

3.  Make Your Own Father's Day Mosaic Frame 1:30-3pm at The Mud Shack in North Wales, PA.  Bring Dad into The Mud Shack and get him to help you make a picture frame he can use to decorate his desk at work. Then, they'll take a picture of everyone together to put in the frame as soon as it is finished. $30 per frame, including studio fee,and all materials. Call ahead to reserve your spot. 215-393-8380

4. Play at the Father's Day Weekend Family Disc Golf Game at Tyler State Park.  Bring the kids & friends along to learn this low-cost family sport. The Bucks County Disc Golf Alliance will provide free lessons. If you've played before, bring your discs and have fun with others in your community. Register online by Thursday, June 18 to save $5.00 and get a free disc!

5. Father's Day Fishing Derby: Spend the day together at the catch & release fishing event at Peace Valley Park in New Britain, PA.  All participants must supply their own equipment including rod, net, bucket and one barbless hook. Check-in between 7:30-8:30am.  No fishing license is required. $7.00 per child / $13.00 for 2 or more kids in the same family. Registrations forms are available at Doylestown Township Administration Building.

6. Shady Brook Farm – Father's Day BBQ is a free event with tons to do including a moonbounce & giant slide, crafts, informational seminars on seasonal and farm-related topics, playground for kids, and food, drinks, and ice cream available (for extra fees).

7. Open Hearth Cooking Demonstration of June's Bounty in the 17th Century will be held 1-4pm at Pennsbury Manor. If dad is a history buff, he'll love watching the Pennsbury cooks use the seasonal bounty to prepare dishes fit for William Penn.

8. If the weather cooperates, head to Bucks County River Country for a fun day of river tubing, rafting, canoeing, or kayaking!  Check out some coupons .
