​Though it may not feel like it, spring is here in Bucks County! These first few weeks of spring have kept most of us cooped up inside, forcing us to notice things that needs to get done around the house. And while spring is a popular time to start fresh via “spring cleaning,” there's so much to do in Bucks County during the season, regardless of the weather! Get out of the house and postpone your cleaning for a few hours with any of these awesome events going on in Bucks County this spring.

​Philadelphia In Style

Location: James A. Michener Art Museum

Philadelphia in Style celebrates the historic fashion legacy of the city through elaborate displays of dresses, wedding gowns, shoes, hats and more. The exhibit spans an entire century of fashion and includes notable designers such as Coco Chanel and Christian Dior, as well as the works of respected retailers John Wanamaker's and Strawbridge and Clothier.

August:  Osage County

Location:  Town and Country Players Barn Theater

Right on Route 263 in Buckingham County, the Town and Country Players provide their community with professional theatrical productions that are stunning. Their current production is August:  Osage County, is a drama by Tracy Letts that tells the tale of three sisters who experience a family tragedy and are forced to go live with their pill-popping, cancer patient of a mother. Repressed truths and unsettling secrets are uprooted, causing the sisters to examine themselves and the way that they live. 3rd Annual Bucks County Garden Fest
Now through May 18
Location:  Bucks County Visitors Center

Come see beautiful shadowbox displays decorated by some of Bucks County's finest nature centers, parks, and gardens. Local experts will be providing educational seminars and workshops throughout the course of the festival, covering topics like Composting and Beneficial Insects. Historic Craven Hall

Craven Hall Open House Tour

Location:  Historic Craven Hall

Historically famous Bucks County families like the Cravens, Vansants, and Bennetts have all walked the grounds of Craven Hall. On the second Sunday of each month, you too, can walk these grounds to tour the historic Craven Hall and the John Fitch Steamboat Museum. Discover how early Dutch families in Bucks County lived and watch the development of modern transportation unfold through the invention of the steamboat. Admission is free!

Location:  Doylestown Rock Gym & Adventure Center

Every Wednesday you can load the kids into the car and head to the Doylestown Rock Gym for some basic training. Here, your kids can get a handle on their motor development, coordination, and balance skills without ruining anything around the house! If your kids have a lot of energy from being pent up all winter, this is a perfect activity the whole family can enjoy. Check the Doylestown Rock Gym website for more information.

9th Annual Yardley Beer Fest

Attention all beer lovers! The 9th Annual Yardley Beer Fest will take place from 1PM to 4:30PM at East Afton and Delaware Avenues.
