Grey Nun Academy today announced enrollments now open for its Grey Nun Summer Academy (GNSA) where children make friends and learn new skills in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment. The Summer Academy is also pleased to announce its new half-day Junior Camp for children ages 3-5 years old, a specially designed one-week program packed with age-appropriate adventures and fun (June 19-23 from 9 am – noon).

Now in its second year, The Summer Academy is available to all students in the Bucks County and surrounding areas in PreK through eighth grades. Limited space is available.

The Summer Academy offers two unique camp experiences:

  • Week 1 (June 12-16) – A week of inspired games from around the world as well as obstacle courses, arts & crafts, and technology.
  • Week 2 (June 19-23) – Explore culinary arts, STEM challenges, water gamers, and much more!

Both weeks include interactive, hands-on outdoor and indoor activities, as well as supervised lunch and recess.

Daily Camp Hours

Week 1: June 12-14noon – 3:00 p.m. & June 15-169:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Week 2: June 19-239:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

“We encourage curiosity, promote leadership, applaud teamwork, build confidence, and foster respect. Since many parents in the area are looking for things to do in June and before summer vacations and camps kick in, we created the Grey Nun Summer Academy to offer an equal balance of creativity and learning that will provide your child with one of the most enjoyable summer experiences possible,” says Grey Nun Academy Head of School Deborah Kost.

GNSA provides children with interactive fun and hands-on experiential activities. Each week features a different theme, providing every child with opportunities to discover new areas of interest.

“Our small camper-to-teacher ratio is ideal for achieving these goals. Building on the wisdom of the Academy’s more than five decades of leadership in education, our two week June camp draws upon the strength of our exceptional faculty and staff. Our serene and secure 90-acre campus sets a superb backdrop for the perfect camp experience for children to develop academically, athletically, and aesthetically,” added Kost.
