Halloween Madness Creeps into New Hope

Creepier, crazier, & more bizarre than ever- in 2011 New Hope is aiming to build upon it's far-reaching reputation as the one of the best towns to celebrate the Halloween holiday. Check out the line-up for this year's festivities:

Pumpkin Man Contest 10/15/11 – 10/31/11:

Participating New Hope Borough Merchants will express their New Hope Halloween spirit by creating a Pumpkin Man for display at their location.

The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce will donate 3 pumpkins to each participating merchant to build, decorate, and display their unique Pumpkin Man character.

The Pumpkin Men will be unveiled October 15th & on display until Oct 31st. October 31st, online votes will be tallied and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Voting deadline is midnight Oct 30th.

The 3rd Annual Mischief March Restaurant & Pub Crawl, 10/15/11, 6pm – 10/16/11, 12am:

This years theme: The Walking Dead

The Mischief March will captivate the night as wickedly dressed, zombies, ghouls, witches and devils travel the streets of New Hope. For $15 a person, Mischief Marchers will receive a private reception, held on Stockton Avenue, followed by a costume contest, discount drinks and food at participating restaurants. Costumed participants only. Must be 21 years or older. Drag is welcome.

Time Warp Masquerade, Friday 10/21/11 8pm to midnight:

Put on your best costume and party at Havana's. The costume party will feature a special guest DJ rockin' out your favorite dance tunes and a pre-performance “meet & mingle” with the cast of The Rocky Horror Show. Then stick around for an exclusive midnight live performance of Rocky Horror at Havana's. Admission is $40.00 for Party & Live Performance. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
