Sure, everyone likes seeing kids in their cute costumes. But adults can get in on the Halloween fun, too! With only one more weekend before Halloween, the holiday-themed fun is really ramping up. Here's a list of spots and events to check out for dancing, drinks, food, costume contests and more:

Halloween Pop-Up Bar Nightmare Before Tinsel

When: Now through October 31; hours Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: 116 S. 12th Street, Philadelphia

This Halloween-themed pop-up bar is worth the drive to Philly! The former home of Simpson’s Jewelry, and the home of Tinsel Christmas Bar for the last two years, has been converted from top to bottom with scenes, images and custom art that bring Philadelphia’s Nightmare to life. Exhibits, props, decorations and photo opportunities range from scary and gory, to ironic and funny, the retro and vintage. Bring your phones charged for selfies and snaps for everything from a haunted casket, skull wall, spiders web and zombie’s wall.

Ghost Tours of New Hope

Where: Main St. & Ferry St., New Hope
When: Fridays and Saturdays, plus Halloween night, tour starts promptly at 8 p.m.

Follow a lantern-led walk through picturesque New Hope while listening to ghost tales and other historical tidbits. Cost is $10 per person. No reservations are required for public tours. Private tours can be arranged (with a reservation) for groups of eight or more.

Rocky Horror Show 

When: Select dates/times now though October 27
Where: Bucks County Playhouse, 70 S. Main Street, New Hope

Let’s do the time warp again! The Rocky Horror Show will be live on stage at the Bucks County Playhouse. Ticket prices vary, see site for details. This show is recommended for audiences age 17 and up. Get tickets here.

The Franklin Institute’s Science After Hours: Wizard School

When: Thursday, October 24 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 222 N. 20th Street, Philadelphia

Class is in session at The Franklin School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From potions to fantastic beasts—the magic is real as The Franklin Institute transforms into a wonderland of science on this enchanted evening. This event is for ages 21+. Tickets are $25 for Non-Members and $20 for Members.

Specters and Spirits

When: Thursday, October 24 and Thursday, October 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Villa Vito’s Back Patio, 26 W. Bridge Street, New Hope

The Dram Devotees of Bucks County present the 5th Annual Specters and Spirits event. For those that are not yet aware, the streets of New Hope are notoriously haunted – quite possibly the most haunted town in America! The town’s history and that of American whiskey in Pennsylvania parallel in many ways. Discover where their stories cross. Each whiskey is thoughtfully paired with each of the six haunted sites on the tour. Guests will receive a gift bag with Halloween candy and their own tasting glass. Get tickets here.

Howl-O-Ween at Crossing Vineyards

When: Saturday and Sunday, October 26-27 from noon to 6 p.m.
Where: 1853 Wrightstown Road, Newtown

Dress up your favorite doggies and bring them to Crossing Vineyards for Howl-O-Ween Pawty! Pose with your pooch for a complimentary pic (noon to 2 pm). Wear your own costume and get a coupon and return for a complimentary wine tasting. Enjoy specials from the bar, spooky music and treats for your group. No cover charge.

The Five Four Bar & Grill Party

When: Saturday, October 26 at 9:30 p.m.
Where: 8919 New Falls Road, Levittown

Dance to live music by Spareparts! Come in costume! No cover.

Halloween Bash at The Barn at Snipes Farm

When: Saturday, October 26 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: The Barn at Snipes Farm, 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville

The Danny DeGennaro Foundation is holding its Halloween Bash at The Barn at Snipes Farm on Oct. 26. The fundraiser features performances from five bands, including headliner AJ Slick Band, as well as Jim Mitchell and the Repeat Offenders and classic rock cover band All Lit Up. The Foundation’s 2018 and 2019 music scholarship award winners, Bee Niranon and Kieran Corson, respectively, will each perform a set. Local musician Casey Welborn will open the concert with an acoustic performance. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at this link. Purchase sandwiches, as well as beer, wine and mixed drinks from Stadium Bar and Grille. One dollar from each drink and food item benefits the Foundation’s mentoring and scholarship mission. Hayrides will be available for $4. Guests can also enjoy a bonfire, raffles and a costume contest.

Night Tales at Fonthill Castle

When: Wednesday, October 30 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 525 East Court Street, Doylestown

Take an evening tour of Fonthill Castle’s shadowy corners, including the Basement “Crypt”, and learn of Henry Mercer’s love of detective and Gothic literature, followed by a dramatic performance of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Admission is $20/$15 for Members.

Steam Pub Halloween Party

When: Thursday, October 31 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: 606 2nd Street Pike, Southampton

Celebrate the holiday at Steam Pub with drink specials, music by DJ Smooth and a costume contest. No cover!
