Doylestown Food Co-op Open House
29 W. State St, Doylestown

Celebrate National Food Day and get an inside look at the new co-op. Join in for locally sourced treats, kids activities, and maybe even a surprise guest or two! While there, enter a raffle to win a Vitamix! With the goal of improving our food system and the American diet, Food Day seeks to inspire community action throughout the country.

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Bucks County Playhouse, New Hope

The Rocky Horror Show has taken over at the Bucks County Playhouse! Don't miss this cult-classic on Bucks County’s most famous stage with an all-star Broadway cast, playing now through November 2nd.

Mercer by Moonlight Tours
Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine St, Doylestown
7:00pm & 8:00pm

What lurks in the shadows of the Mercer Castle? Discover the history and folklore of some of the museum's more chilling or ghoulish objects, including the hearse, the gallows, “witch” doctor's canes, brooms, and more on this seasonal night time tour. Tickets for non-members are $12 for adults and $10 for youth 12 and under. Tickets for members are $10 for adults and $8 for youth 12 and under.

Gaggles of Ghosts and Ghouls
Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N. Chapman Rd, Doylestown
6:30pm – 9:00pm

Led by some ghoulish teacher naturalists, you will embark on an eerie walk through the trails of PVNC. Along the way, you may meet some “creatures” that will expose some of the myths about the creepy and frightening nature of cats, rats, bats, snakes, ghosts, and other things that go bump in the night. After the walk, relax at the warming fire. Walks are ongoing throughout the evening. Cost is $6 per person [$3 for members]. Not recommended for children under 7.

Newtown Halloween Parade
Stocking Works & Newtown Theatre, Newtown
10:00am

Registration is at 9:00am and the parade begins at 10:00am. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the parade at the Newtown Theatre and refreshments will be served. This event is rain or shine!

Harvest Fair and “Best of Bucks” Auction
Bristol Township Senior Center, 2501 Bath Rd, Bristol
10:00am

A preview auction and silent bidding on October 25th leading into a live auction beginning at 10:00am on Saturday. There will also be seasonal children’s crafts outside at a nominal cost. Children will create their own “Trick-or-Treat” bags, make a mask, decorate a “boo-t-ful” cupcakes, design a scarecrow, create their own puzzles, decorate a gourd, and make monster hands [just to name a few].

Canal-o-ween yardleyCanal-O-Ween
Delaware Canal, N. Edgewater Ave, Yardley

Carving, lighting, and strolling by jack-o-lanterns since 2009! A week-long traditional-style Halloween lighting of jack-o-lanterns along the Delaware Canal. Bucks County residents can enjoy the beauty of the season within the natural setting of the Canal itself. The carve-a-thon is scheduled for Sunday, October 27th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm.

Ghost Stories from a Writer’s House
520 Dublin Rd, Perkasie
5:00pm – 8:00pm

Come in costume and experience authentic, documented ghost tales from Green Hills Farm and listen ot a reading of Pearl S. Buck’s ghostly short story about “Devil Harry.” $10 admission fee includes a Candlelight Ghost House tour. Pre-school children are free.
