Bucks County's latest Happening Kid, Ashley Tetreault kicks October into high gear! Meet Ashley Tetrault, a talented 9 year old from Richboro.  A Tae Kwon Do black belt who recently place 3rd in weapons at the Nationals in Dallas, Texas, this is a little lady that you want to keep on your good side! We got the chance to ask Ashley a few questions about her life as a Happening Kid:

BH: Congratulations on your big win at Nationals! What do you love about Tae Kwon Do?

Ashley: Tae Kwon Do is fun and I like to compete, it is good exercise and good to learn to defend yourself.

BH: In addition to Tae Kwon Do, what are some of your favorite things to do?

Ashley: I also do Gymnastics, attend Sunday School, participate in school activities and enjoy programs at the local library.

BH: It sounds like your activities all really compliment each other. What drew you to them?

Ashley: Well, gymnastics is fun and you can do flips and other cool tricks. I like to do activities with my school because it's a great school- they have a run club that is really fun, but I also love to read and the library programs are very interesting.

BH: That's really fantastic that you focus on your schoolwork. What's your favorite subject?

Ashley: There are two- Language Arts because I like to read books and write and Social Studies because I like to learn about history.
 
BH: You've certainly accomplished a lot for your age! Who are your biggest inspirations?

Ashley: My mom because she is nice and is a good person.
 
BH: We hear that you love to help teach other kids in your karate classes.  What do you want to be when you grow up?

Ashley: I actually want to be a teacher when I grow up.BH: It sounds like you are a girl who knows what she wants and goes for it! We wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing you continue
