Maximum Impact Karate, a Happening List award-winning martial arts school educating hundreds of students, will celebrate ten years of success this September.

In 2004, Sensei Tim Rosanelli and his wife, Sensei Ester Sabidussi, started the school in a small church hall in Dublin, PA with only 30 students. The dojo now has almost 200 students and currently operates in the Dublin Tec Center at 123 N. Main Street. A “dojo”, literally meaning “place of the way”, is the Japanese term for a formal training place.

The secret to their school’s success is focusing on positive student outcomes, said Sensei Rosanelli.

“Our school’s ‘out of the dojo and into the world attitude’ teaches more than just kicking and punching,” Sensei Rosanelli said. “It teaches valuable leadership skills.”

Over the last ten years, the business has grown from Sensei Rosanelli as the only teacher, to a staff of 12 professional instructors.

“Our instructors have trained with us throughout the years. Their energy, enthusiasm, helpfulness, and friendliness are proof that our program works”, said Sensei Rosanelli.

Parents enrolling children and teens in our program can count on the instructors to provide the leadership and life skills sought through martial arts training, Sensei Rosanelli said.

Sensei Rosanelli offers one word of advice to parents that he’s learned over the past ten years: “If you have a child, get them into a karate program. There are many great programs right around the corner from where you live. I’ve witnessed many amazing transformations in our students. I believe every child should have the opportunity to experience karate.”
