Leighton Rian Westerman just turned 2 years old on August 3rd; two weeks later she was diagnosed with leukemia. The youngest of 7 children, Leighton is currently under going chemotherapy, blood transfusions, weekly spinal taps, and bone marrow biopsies.

The community is rallying behind Leighton with a benefit scheduled for November 17, 2012 at the Bridgemen's Hall in Philadelphia from 7:00 – 11:00 pm.

“A huge amount of fantastic donations for raffle items and door prizes from various local businesses as well as national businesses and the outpouring and generosity from the community has been an overwhelming inspirational experience.” – Tommy Chriswell

In addition to food & beverage from some of the area's best chefs, XWELLBAND will provide top notch live music and many other forms of talent are getting on board such as face painters and magicians to provide entertainment and activities for the kids at the event.

Ticket purchase includes dinner, dessert, open beer /soda bar, (cash bar for mixed drinks) , and a great live band.  All ticket stubs are automatically entered into several drawings throughout the night for many fantastic door prizes.  Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event  for chances to win prizes such as Nook color tablets, silver coins, gift certificates, gift baskets, musical instruments, art supplies, and much much more.

Donations can be made and tickets for the benefit can be purchased via Benefit4leighton.org
