This week many of the areas most exciting Happenings are starting late. There will be fireflies in Chalfont, food in Hatboro and cars in Doylestown. Take a look at a few of the exciting things happening after hours in Bucks County. Last week’s 200-year celebration in Doylestown Township was pushed back due to weather. The celebration will now be held Sunday, July 22 at Doylestown Central Park. Bigg Romeo is set to perform in the Covenant Bank Amphitheater at 7 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled at 9:15 a.m.

Doylestown car show

Classic Car Show

Doylestown at Dusk is an annual classic car show, featuring over 500 cars. This show takes place on the streets of downtown Doylestown, closing roads in the center of the city to traffic. This unique show includes music, and displays from local vendors. It is free and open to the public. The show is scheduled for Saturday, July 21 from 5 to 10 p.m.

Firefly Festival

On Saturday, July 21, the fireflies will be dancing in Chalfont for the Tabora Farms Firefly Festival. This all-ages fun night will have wagon rides, a bonfire, smores, a DJ, games, cake walk and more. The fun starts at 6 p.m. with tickets, for all guests 3 and older $7 at the door. The farm is located at 1104 Upper Stump Road, Chalfont, PA.

Hatboro Summer Nights

On Friday, July 20, starting at 5:30 p.m. the action starts at 32 N. York Road in Hatboro. The Summer Nights Activities and Farmer’s Market Coincide to make a fun evening with music, children’s activities, and fresh produce. Businesses stay open a little later and local vendors are on hand with a variety of items. It's also cruise night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. There is a food drive for local pantries at the corner of York and Moreland planned for that evening, with a free gift for those who donate.
