Caleb’s American Kitchen along with the support of neighboring restaurants, Marsha Brown, Havana, Martine’s Riverhouse, The Landing, The Logan Inn, Triumph Brewery and Bitter Bob’s are coming together to host a special charity event for some local Friends in Need – Karen & Randy Charlins and Mark Wade.

On February 7, the Charlins Family tragically lost their world to a devastating house fire, which also took their two beloved dogs. Both Karen and Randy have been a staple in the New Hope restaurant scene as Karen currently bartends at Mojito’s and Randy, a long time bartender at Marsha Brown.

Mark Wade has also met adversary with a life threatening illness. Weeks ago he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer. At the young age of 30, Mark is currently undergoing chemotherapy for the next six months. He too has made his mark in the New Hope restaurant community. Mark worked as the valet captain at Marsha Brown and most recently as host at Caleb’s American Kitchen.

Friends in Need is an opportunity for our community to offer financial support to Karen, Randy and Mark.  100% of ticket sales and silent auction funds will be split among these friends. Marsha Brown is providing and serving wine and spirits. Caleb’s American Kitchen along with Havana, Martine’s Riverhouse, The Landing, Logan Inn, Triumph Brewery and Bitter Bob’s will be donating all food and drink items.

The event takes place on Sunday, February 22 from 5 to 8 pm at Caleb’s American Kitchen in Lahaska.  Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door.
