Season of Lights & Christmas Festival Peddler's Village

Peddler's Village welcomes the Season of Lights with the Grand Illumination Celebration on Friday, November 17, 6-9 pm. Shops open until 10 pm! The annual Gingerbread Competition and Display also opens on November 17. Free admission and parking.

In an exciting countdown ceremony at 6:15 pm on the Main Green, Santa and Mrs. Claus will “switch on” one million jewel-colored holiday lights, transforming the entire Village into a dazzling winter wonderland.

After the ceremony, enjoy complimentary warm apple cider and roasted marshmallows over an open fire. Local musicians and school choirs perform holiday favorites throughout the evening. Join Santa for photos in Giggleberry Fair. after the ceremony.

The Gingerbread Competition & Display is a feast for the eyes with more than 50 creative and whimsical entries on exhibit in the Village Gazebo.

Check off your holiday gift list at the Merchants' Open House Weekend with refreshments in each shop and something for everyone, November 17-19. The Village’s extended holiday shopping hours are November 24 through December 30, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus on a journey through historic Bucks County on a train pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive. November 17th – 7PM. Dashin' Thru The Lights. A family-friendly 2-mile walk/jog/run will commence through Shady Brook's Holiday Light Show. There will be prizes for winners and a festive holiday atmosphere all evening long.

November 18th – January 7th. Holiday Light Show. Every year, more than 3 million lights illuminate in Bucks County to create a stunning display of holiday cheer. This year is no different! The light show will be open from 5PM-10PM every evening.

November 24th – 3PM. Santa's Helicopter Arrival. Search the skies for Santa Claus in his chopper! He'll be available for photos and Christmas fun all afternoon.

November 25th – December 23rd. Visit With Santa. If you miss Santa's arrival, you can stop by to see him any time afterward to drop off your wish list and take photos.

Holiday Festival: Bucks County Wine Trail

The wineries of the Bucks County Wine Trail will hold its annual Holiday Celebration on Dec. 9 and Dec. 10. Guests can experience the wineries decorated for the holidays while enjoying delicious spiced wine tastings, sampling Christmas cookies and artisanal cheeses and relaxing with the sounds of holiday music.

During the Holiday Celebration, visitors can also get a jump start on holiday shopping with special discount pricing, wine gift packs, gift baskets and unique wine accessories.

Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery invites guests to take wagon rides around the vineyard, enjoy a photo opportunity with the owners’ draft horse, Sam and sample warm cocoa wine with Christmas cookies. Enjoy live music around the fire pits, decorate a wine glass for Christmas with a wine tasting and make a personalized holiday wine glass charm. Gift baskets can be ordered and holiday wine bags for last minute gifting will be available!

Buckingham Valley Vineyards will pair home-baked holiday cookies with its warm Holiday Spice wine.

Crossing Vineyards and Winery will feature live music both days from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Discounts offered on case purchases.

Ohev Shalom Will Host Hanukkah Dinner and Rock Shabbat

Ohev Shalom of Bucks County will host its Hanukkah Dinner and Rock Shabbat on December 15, 2017. Shabbat Services start at 6 PM, and dinner starts at 7:30 PM and ends at 8:30 PM. This is the third of the monthly Friday Night Live Shabbat Services initiative hosted by the Bucks County synagogue. As part of this event, we are supporting the Mitzvah Circle and Bucks County Housing Group by collecting personal items. We kindly request that you bring with you any of the following items: full size toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, razors, and women’s hygiene items. Together, let’s light up someone’s life this time of year!

Cost of the event is as follows: $36 for a family with children through high school, $15 per person for adults, and $10 per person for teens without adults.
