Holiday Shopping Deals at Rice’s

When it comes to holiday shopping, deals are at the top of consumers' wish-lists. It's hard to believe that we've celebrated four holiday season since the economy slipped into a recession in December 2007. While main street consumer are still feeling the effects of the economic slump, the savviest holiday shoppers are learning to make the most of smaller budgets.

One way that locals in the Philadelphia regions are making the most of their holidays budgets is by visiting Rice's Market in New Hope, a thirty acre outdoor market open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Vendors come from all around, as they have for over 100 years, to sell their goods.

On a typical market day, Rice's will host as many as 500 vendors and 10,000 shoppers! Every Tuesday and Saturday from 7am to 1:30pm, shoppers seeking the best deals arrive at Rice's, the most dedicated rising extra early to find the widest product selections.

Recently, Bucks Happening paid a visit to Rice's to scope out what the largest outdoor market in Pennsylvania had to offer for the 2011 holiday season.
