You can almost smell the fear in air in Bucks County at this time of year.  Home to some of the best horror attractions in the country, Bucks County's hayrides have even inspired best-selling horror novels! Recently named one of the top 13 scream parks in the country by Hauntworld, Shady Brook Farm's Horrorfest features a range of Halloween attractions for all ages on weekend evenings throughout October.

Hayride of Horror: Haunted hayrides are the quintessential Bucks County experience, and a family-friendly Halloween adventure. Shackle up a wagon on the Hayride of Horror and visit the depths of Shady Brook’s wooded acres. Each year, Shady Brook Farm adds more jaw-dropping features to the ride. Will you be driven through horror, or dragged into terror?

Barn of Horror: One of the scariest options at Horrorfest, The Barn of Horror has long been a gathering place for all manner of fiends – a collection of night terrors trapped under one roof. Walk through the darkness, test the limits of bravery, and find what lurks in the night.

3-D Alien Encounter: Step outside of the realm of reality and into the 3-D Alien Encounter – a terrifying adventure that will bring the extraterrestrial into focus with out of this world special effects. Long black hallways speckled with glowing 3-D paint guides visitors into large scenes of Alien encounters.

Carnage:  See the fields run red at Carnage – where the earth is tainted with the destruction, and dismemberment, of man – literally. *Due to its graphic content, this attraction is not recommended for those under the age of 10.
