Just in time for the sun to return: This Thursday, May 24th, Newtown's own Isaac Newton's will be tapping an arsenal of vintage and barrel-aged rarities! The event, which runs from 7pm to 9pm will feature some of the finest aged beers available.  It sounds like the folks at Isaac's have been stockpiling some truly great brews for this event.  (Brendan Kingston from the world-class B. United International importers will be on hand to help showcase the beer.)

The line up that is planned will consist of Thirsty Dog Barrel Aged Siberian Night Imperial Stout Ale (11%), Southern Tier Oak Aged Unearthly Imperial IPA (9.9%), Avery Mephistopheles Stout (16.43%), Mestreech Aajt (5%), New Holland Dragon’s Milk Oak Aged Ale (10%), Cisco Lady of the Woods (5%), and, a likely highlight of the evening, a wooden cask firkin of JW Lees 2011 Vintage Harvest Ale (~11.5%) matured in Lagavulin Scotch barrels for over four months!

If you've been interested in learning more about aged beer or just trying some new varieties, this is a great opportunity to do so.  (As usual, the exact draft lineup is subject to change.)
