Happening Heroes: Jim Worthington Accepts 2016 Augie’s Bash Leadership Award

Over the past 10 years, Jim Worthington has led the Newtown Athletic Club to be a leader in charitable contributions most notably for ALS Research. In 2016, NAC members, employees, sponsors rallied together and raised a total of $100,000.

This year, Worthington received the 2016 Augie’s Quest Leadership Award and with his matching donation, the NAC has raised a total of $200,000 for Augie’s Quest which is 14% of the 1.4 million that was raised this year.
