Doylestown's favorite American Idol alumnus, Justin Guarini, who also happens to be nominated in the 2014 Happening List “Famous Bucks-er” category, was just cast in the role of Fiyero in the hit Broadway show, Wicked.

Before starting his big new role on February 25th, Justin will be helping the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope celebrate their 75th anniversary by debuting “Lovesick,” a show he wrote and developed, for two performances over Valentine's Day weekend. The show, directed by Gordon Greenberg, is Guarini's tribute to all the places love has taken him.

Guarini is no newcomer to Broadway stage. He's also starred in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (2010–2011) as Carlos, American Idiot (2011) as Will, and Romeo and Juliet (2013) as Paris.
