The Veterans Square Monument Committee invites the public to attend its Third Annual Free Labor Day Concert, featuring the Pennsbury Community Band, on Monday, September 2nd at 3:30 pm.

The concert will be held at the Masonic Lodge, corner of Edgewood and Heacock Roads, diagonally across from Veterans Square Park in Lower Makefield Township. The band is organized by Frank Mazzeo and conducted by Chris Bygott. It is comprised of members of the Walnut Street Theater, music teachers from the Pennsbury School District, and PHS graduates.

Since the concert is free, the committee will be raising funds to build Veterans Square Monument by selling tickets for raffle baskets with items donated by local businesses. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and we will hold a 50/50. If you have an item or service to donate, please contact us at 215-321-9604. There will be a karate demo during intermission by Hurricane Karate, one of our donors.
