Labor Day is almost here which sadly marks the end of summer but as always Bucks County has plenty to offer you and your family. Enjoy your last days of summer with some of the fun activities listed below!

Doylestown’s Foodie First Friday is a restaurant-centric initiative designed to Celebrate Culture, Community and Cuisine. Visitors are encouraged to stroll and experience the unique shoppes and food establishments.

Tower Tours for Families
Saturday, September 5th, 10:30am & 12:45pm 
Fonthill Museum, 84 S Pine St, Doylestown, PA 18901
Children and parents explore Henry Mercer’s castle from basement to tower and learn about Mercer’s creative ideas through stories and prints. This tour also travels through areas of the castle that are not seen on their regular tour. You will be able to explore through the kitchen, Morning room, Wind room, and guests will be able to see the beautiful view from the top of the terrace. Children must be 6 or older and able to climb steep stairs. $14 adults/$8 youth, Members: $8 adults/ $4 youth (age 6-17). Reservations required, call 215-348-9461 or email fhmail@fonthillmuseum.org.

The 50th Annual Polish American Festival & County Fair
September 5th-7th and September 12th-13th from 12noon-8pm
National Shrine of Our Lady Of Czestochowa
The Festival offers rides, a children’s playground, exhibits, a Polish Village, crafts, and fabulous entertainment, such as live music, shows, and Polka dancing. Admission is $12.00 per person, and parking is free.

Bucks Happening scarecrowPeddler’s Village Scarecrow Competition & Display
Monday, September 14th, 2015
Bigger than life scarecrow creations are displayed outdoors and compete for over $5,000 in cash prizes. The Scarecrow Festival will take place on Saturday, September 19th from 10-6am. Stroll around Peddler’s Village and cast your vote for your favorite scarecrow. Free admission and free parking for both events!

New Hope & Lambertville First Friday & Fireworks
Friday, September 4th, 6-9:30pm
First Friday is an evening celebrating music and visual arts. The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and Lambertville Chambers of Commerce will present a ten-minute firework show conducted by Garden State Fireworks will illuminate the sky for the last night of summer! In addition, the retail businesses on both sides of the river will stay open late until 10:00 pm.

Lower Bucks County

Mayor’s Labor Day Picnic  
Monday, September 7th at 10am-5pm
Williamson Park
Join in the the fun at Morrisvilles Annual Labor Day Picnic. The car show will start at 9am followed by the picnic at 10am. Local vendors, raffles, and plenty of great food to make your Labor Day one of a kind. Bring your chairs and blankets and spend the day with friends and family.

Animals at the Manor

Meet each of these delightful animals and learn about the important role they played at the Manor during colonial times. Once you've greeted each furry friend out on the grounds, take a tour of this reconstructed Manor that was once home to Pennsylvania's founder, William Penn.

Sesame Place BBQ & Fireworks
September 5th and 6th at 5pm
Come celebrate Labor Day with all your favorite Sesame Street friends at Big Bird’s Riverside Pavilion. Dinner prices are adult $29 and children (ages 2-11) $18. Menu includes BBQ chicken, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled BBQ, corn on the cob, baked beans, mac n’ cheese, garden salad, and fruit. Reservations are required. After a fun-filled dinner enjoy the end of summer fireworks display! The night sky will be sparkling at Sesame Place, with a spectacular fireworks show, set to a Sesame Street sound track, making the festivities on Labor Day weekend truly memorable. Fireworks will begin at 8:25.

Enjoy Labor Day Weekend with a variety of rides, food and games. A brilliant fireworks display will light up the sky at dusk on Saturday, August 31. SWristband nights Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Fireworks Sat (Raindate Sunday)
