On Wednesday, September 12th, Isaac Newtons in Newtown will tap an extra special beer, brewed in Bucks County's own backyard. This enormous beer is from one of the newest local breweries that is exploding in popularity –  Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company's Leon Russian Imperial Smores Stout (11.6%).

About the beer

A massive multi-layered stout, Leon immediately evokes the image of its namesake dessert. Sweet, complex, and warming, we have been waiting to try this one for a while! Stop by for a glass as Leon won’t last long!

The brewery describes the beer as…“Leon is a big beer. So big, it has twice as much malt as any other beer we brew, and also requires us to do a double mash just to reach such a high wort gravity. Each 15 barrel brew has 45 pounds of freshly handmade marshmallow fluff made by our in-house chef as well as 16 and half pounds of bittersweet bakers chocolate and 30 pounds of crumbled graham crackers.”

In July, NCBC teased on Facebook, “What do 60 pounds of graham cracker and 33 pounds of bittersweet chocolate have in common?”
