Business owners and directors of non-profit groups are constantly searching for new customers and donors and social media is increasingly becoming a necessary tool in the advertising arsenal. In particular, LinkedIn is reportedly used by 94% of B2B marketers to distribute content according to research information compiled by the SEO experts at Bubblegumsearch.com. Additionally, nearly three-quarters of these marketers state that LinkedIn is effective for generating new business leads.

But if the world of social media and business websites and online profiles seems overwhelming, then attend the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce Lunch and Learn workshop, “Make Your LinkedIn Profile Work For You & Your Business,” on Wed., Nov. 15 from noon to 1:30 pm.

Donna Botti, owner of Delos Incorporated in Collegeville, Pa. will be teaching participants about the best practices for using LinkedIn to grow their organizations. She will cover topics such as building your personal and business profiles, expanding your network, publishing on LinkedIn and prospecting and advertising.

The workshop is free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Registrations can be made online at http://web.ubcc.org/events/Lunch-Learn.

The program will be held at the Chamber office located at 21 N Main St. in Quakertown, PA 18951.
