When it comes to highly accomplished Bucks County natives, Kathy Romano, a judge in this year's Top 10 Movers & Shakers of Bucks County, is at the top of that list!

If you live in the Greater Philadelphia area, chances are that you've heard the voice of this Pennsbury High School graduate on WMMR's Preston & Steve Show. Professionally, Kathy has already achieved immense success in her career; achievements which led to her being named one of Philadelphia Business Journal ‘s “40 under 40” in 2011.

After graduating with a BA in Communication Studies from West Chester University in 2000, Kathy explored the world of media through a variety of roles- first as an intern on a public affairs show for UPN-57, then as a production assistant at NBC-10, and later as a traffic reporter for the same station.  In 2003, Kathy joined the Preston and Steve Show at Y100 and moved with them to their new home at WMMR in 2005.

Beyond her impressive career at WMMR, Kathy keeps busy through a variety of initiatives in the Greater Philadelphia community:

•  Founding the Fresh Smiles Foundation to help keep underprivileged children active in organized activities.
• Working at Comcast Sportsnet as a roving reporter in a feature called “Roamin with Romano” which aired during Eagles Pre and Post Game Live hosted by Michael Barkann and featured Governor Ed Rendell, Ray Didinger and Vaughn Hebron.
• Reporting on Monday Night Live, hosted by Ron Burke and Ike Reese.
• Serving as the in-arena host for the Philadelphia 76ers for 4 season.

In between her hectic schedule, Kathy loves unwinding at the Jersey shore, traveling to Europe, and salsa dancing. Some of her other favorite things are yoga, chocolate, and wines from New Zealand. She was born on Long Island, NY. Her family later moved to Bucks County where she attended Pennsbury High School. Kathy and her husband are foster parents to a wonderful 2 year old little boy, and they currently live nearby in beautiful Conshohocken.
