This Sunday, August 15th, Bucks County residents get not only one, but two FREE concerts to tune up your weekend in Bucks County!

1) Check out A Midsummer’s Evening of Music at the Thompson Neely House Military Cemetery where the friends of Washington Crossing Historic Park and the Thompson Neely House Auxiliary will present the music of the Community Conservatory of Doylestown. The concert grounds are located on the southeast corner of Aquetong and River Roads, two miles south of New Hope, PA.

The program will begin at 6 p.m., but spectators are encouraged to arrive early & picnic (check out our perfect picnic tips!). Bring chairs and/or blankets and enjoy the summer breeze & scenic views. With over 1,500 students, the Community Conservatory is dedicated to offering a wide range of high quality arts education and performance programs in music, art, and drama. Plus, internationally renowned opera star, Emily Golden will end the evening with a memorable performance.

Another highlight of the evening will be when the Twilight Wish Foundation, founded by Cass Forkin of Doylestown, grants special wishes to deserving senior citizens.

For more about the evening, please contact John Touhey at thompsonneelyhouse@verizon.net or telephone 215-297-9799.
