David Dzubinski, who is now a resident of Bristol, grew up in Warminster to the sweet sounds of the music his mother David09Edwould play on the piano after he and his four siblings were put to bed.  It is that memory that created a life long love for him. “I remember the sounds of Beethoven, Grieg, show tunes and others genres floating up from the living room as we lie in our warm beds drifting off to sleep. I loved the sounds the piano made and I loved the feelings that music brought out in me and others: I fell in love with music.”

Music is David’s art, his passion, and he is happy to say, the way he makes his living. “To be able to spend your days doing something that you care about so deeply is indeed a blessing. For me it really is a healing art and I have been very fortunate in that people enjoy the music that I create.”  He graduated college in Philadelphia from Temple University’s Music school, where he studied jazz.  Since that time he has had the pleasure of performing many genres of music in a wide variety of venues both solo and with many other talented musicians.   He’s played in clubs, restaurants, and theaters, festivals and jazz concerts, on the radio and on recordings.  David has been featured on a few CDs and his solo album ‘Recyclical’ is available on Amazon and well as CD Baby.

“The people and geography keep me in Bucks County.” David grew up in Bucks County and feels that it is where he belongs.   It certainly helps that he is able to share his gifts in so many spots in the area such as The Dog and Bull in Bristol where he and his trio perform for first Friday happy hour from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and first Saturday brunch from 11:00am-2:00pm.  He can also be seen in his jazz duo in rotation at the Vault Brewing Co. in Yardley playing with bassist Jason Fraticelli.  At restaurant Uva in Richboro he plays solo piano music on an ongoing basis every other Saturday night from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. The upcoming dates at Uva are August 2nd, August 16th, August 30th.   Though David finds it hard to describe his sound since he plays such a variety he did say, “I would say that my sound is a fun, open, energetic yet sensitive romp through the material at hand with playful clusters of notes and blues inflections thrown in for good measure.”
