On Saturday, June 10 at 2pm at the Newtown Athletic Club Robert “Cozmo” Consulmagno will attempt to break the Standing Ab Wheel World Record in 60minutes. Cozmo, as he prefers to be called, is a service connected Marine with Bipolar disorder and PTSD. He is also a NAC member. His mission is to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health.

Breaking the Standing Ab Wheel World Record in 60 minutes is one way to be heard across the globe. Ending the stigma is huge! Society today has yet to embrace and accept mental health. Cozmo will not rest until mental health is viewed just like any other ailment or disease. His father was schizophrenic and took his own life.

Cozmo’s mission is to inspire and be the face of Bipolar and PTSD. On Saturday, June 10 he will etch his name in the record books for all fighting battles with mental illness with hopes of changing worlds view on mental health.

On Saturday, June 10 at 2 PM he will have Matt Bellina, ALS Warrior of the NAC’s Matt’s Mission for ALS Research, in his corner pushing him! Cozmo wants to break the record in Matt’s honor and raise awareness for ALS. The Newtown Athletic Club’s NAC Have a Heart Foundation raises money for ALS Research, “Right to Try” federal and state bills advocacy for the terminally ill and more.

Kelly Beauparlant, Executive Director of the NAC Have a Heart Foundation, says, “We are thrilled to support Cozmo in his endeavors. Our foundation supports many causes that will better the lives of people both locally and globally.”

In regard to mental health, Cozmo says, “Never Judge a book by its cover!” We lose 22 Vets a day to suicide. Together we make history!”
