If you've driven through Newtown over the past few months, you've most likely seen the ambitious expansion by the Newtown Athletic Club. And believe it or not, the brand new state-of-the-art NAC Sports Training Center is already complete!
This Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 12noon – 5pm is the Grand Opening Open House Celebration of the NAC Sports Training Center at the corner of Penns Trail and Pheasant Run in Newtown, PA.
The new Training Center will be the home of the Big Leagues Baseball Academy, Rock Starz All Stars Cheerleading and the NAC Gymnastics Team as well as host to 30,000 square feet of indoor athletic turfed sports arena available for rental to local sports teams, organizations, tournaments and more. This facility will be second to none in the area and will allow thousands of community members to participate in year round sporting activities that will encourage a lifestyle of teamwork, recreation, fair competition and more.
The entire community is invited to head over for activities from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday, January 12, 2013, beginning with a ribbon cutting and remarks from local and national dignitaries, including Mike Fitzpatrick, U.S. Congressman for the 8th District and Mike Gallagher, Chairman, Newtown Board of Supervisors. Opening ceremonies will be followed by sporting demonstrations, contests, prizes, giveaways, refreshments and more.
At 3pm there will be a grand prize drawing for a Zuma 50 Scooter provided by Fun Center Power Sports in Bensalem, PA. In addition the NAC will awarding fabulous grand prizes for its Member Joining and Referral Bonus Program, including a trip to Disney or Italy, a 42” flat screen TV and an IPad!
