In honor of the 2013 Academy Awards ceremony (including a Bucks County-related nominee!), which is airing this Sunday February 24th, a glamorous evening is scheduled at the historic Newtown Theatre:

What: A screening of the Academy Award nominated “Beasts of the Southern Wild”, produced by Newtown's own Paul Mezey, followed by a broadcast of the 2013 Oscars on the big screen.

When: Sunday, February 24th. Film begins at 6pm followed by awards ceremony

Cost: $10 for film, (advanced purchase recommended)

Where: Newtown Theatre, 226 N. Lincoln Ave, Newtown PA

Details: Donations for the Newtown Theatre Digital Projector Fund will be accepted at the door and throughout the evening. Refreshments will be available. Dress is Black Tie optional.
