Picture Perfect Meetings at Lambertville Restaurant Station and Inn

If you have worked in corporate America, chances are that you have attended an offsite meeting. Whether it’s a team building afternoon, an overnight retreat, an educational seminar, a networking event, a corporate training, there are endless opportunities to end up inside a hotel conference room. For many groups who work so hard to plan an offsite meeting, great effort and detail is placed into the content of the day’s events. From speaker lineup to curriculum, this is a key to success. But consider this when planning your next meeting: Have you thought about the feeling you want to evoke; the action you want to motivate, the mindset you want to portray? More often than not, the key to moving a group of people towards a certain action goes beyond the words that are said and beyond the lessons that are taught. Action comes from a feeling. Provoking a feeling is a lot harder to inspire inside a bland, windowless, white conference room on a nondescript highway.

Enter Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn.

Combine the rustic elegance and charm of the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn with its convenience to New York and Philadelphia, and you have the perfect place to hold a corporate conference or retreat. The four-diamond boutique Inn has 46 welcoming and stylish rooms to stay in as well as four unique venues in which to host conference meetings.

What normal conference hotels lack in charm and location, the Lambertville Inn and Conference Center has in abundance. The lobby greets the visitor with a wide fireplace, leather chairs, and the reception desk of dark wood. The walls are lined with antique ledgers, giving the place the feel of a bygone era. Each guest is greeted with a smile from a friendly and knowledgeable hospitality staff member who can assist in providing legendary service. The hotel does offer some of the conventional perks, as well, including continental breakfast, a morning paper delivered to guests at the time they prefer, complimentary WiFi, and of course, parking.

“I want our clients to feel that they have arrived somewhere special for their conference,” says Conference Sales Director Patricia Donaruma. “We know that meetings can be stressful, so we take pride in removing all outside stress by having our staff provide excellent service, attention to detail, fabulous food, and competitive pricing all in our quaint town.” Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is conveniently located where guests do not need a car and can walk into Lambertville or New Hope after hours for a fun evening off-site with co-workers.

“We know that meetings can be stressful, so we take pride in removing all outside stress by having our staff provide excellent service, attention to detail, fabulous food, and competitive pricing all in our quaint town.”

The bucolic lure of the area will not be lost to conference goers. In fact, the setting is so relaxing and serene that productivity will soar. Situated on the Delaware River, the Inn is filled with large windows to let in the scenic views. Most conference space has a view of the river or the creek ensuring that guests are never too far away from a beautiful view.

The Inn has four different venues to accommodate from two to 200 people for meetings, conferences, and retreats. The largest of the rooms, the Riverside Ballroom, has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Delaware River and the town of New Hope on the other side. The room is outfitted with audio/visual equipment and any kind of table configuration a conference might require from roundtables, classroom-style seating, or boardroom tables.

The Creekside Room has floor to ceiling windows and overlooks Swan Creek. The room opens up to a patio and can be used for breakout groups, retreats, or after-hours cocktail parties or socials.

The Board Room is an intimate conference room for small groups who need boardroom style arrangements for their meetings. The Delaware Room is a light-filled meeting space located in the historic train station. The room itself has plenty of character, situated behind a ticket window and seats 25 people.

Riversedge is a beautiful, breathtaking open-air space that sits on the banks of the Delaware River where clients host welcome receptions, cocktail parties, award ceremonies and many other types of events.

After a meeting guests can gather and relax in the unique and famous Lambertville Station Wine Cellar. The Wine Cellar has plenty of Old-World charm and is known throughout Hunterdon County due to its unique setting as well as an extensive array of wines by the glass, tapas wine paired menu and experienced staff.

The restaurant itself is another one of the many perks to holding a conference at the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn. Without leaving the property, guests can enjoy award-winning cuisine with many dining menu options. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining in season or platform dining for a more sophisticated experience in the Victorian Lounge. A vast array of ingredients are locally sourced. The restaurant chef, as well as the catering staff at the Inn, are able to customize menus to accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs.

That is what ultimately makes the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn an excellent choice for conferences and meetings. Because it is a boutique, independent venue, with a staff that is hospitality focused, they can customize every aspect of a company’s stay. “We take the time and opportunity to get to know each and every one of our clients’ expectations and as a result, we are able to create and deliver a memorable and successful event,” says Donaruma.
