It's Fall and that not only means the changing of the season or pumpkin spice latte's but in this neck of the woods it means that it's time for the Renaissance faires to pop up. Renaissance faires are a uniquely American phenomenon, they are held around the country and celebrate medieval and Renaissance culture. In addition to the very large and ever popular Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, which runs now through October 26th in Manheim, we have a local one held right here in Wrightstown, Bucks County.
Called the Village Renaissance Faire, this popular local event will allow families to meet pirates, knights, and dragons too! The event, now in it's 15th year, takes place in Wrightstown PA (for directions and maps click here) on September 20th and 21st from 11am-6pm. Parking is free, Admission is $5, and Children under 5 are FREE!
Join the lords and ladies for live jousting, fire breathers, live music, living literature: Pyrates Invading the Kingdom, flying birds of prey, human chess, juggling, puppetry, crafts, games, food, drink, and so much more! For all the information on the Village Renaissance Faire visit their website.
