All levels of cyclists are encouraged to enter the annual River to River Heritage Bicycle Ride to enjoy a scenic route for a wonderful local cause on Saturday July 24, 2010.  Riders will choose 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles routes through varied terrain according to their skill level. Overall, the course spans from the Delaware to the Schuylkill River through two of Pennsylvania’s most historic counties – Bucks and Montgomery, including trails through small, quaint towns with farms, churches and businesses dating back to the 1700s. Designed like a figure eight, the River to River Bicycle Ride route begins and ends at the Souderton Mennonite Church in Souderton, Montgomery County, Pa.

Proceeds will benefit the Heritage Conservancy, an accredited not-for-profit conservation organization, specializes in open space preservation, planning for sustainable communities, natural resource protection, property stewardship, historic preservation, adaptive reuse of existing structures, wildlife habitat restoration and biodiversity. Through 50+ years of professional land use planning/design and innovative land conservation/historic preservation strategies, the Conservancy has established itself as an acclaimed leader in the region.

Keep an eye out for Heritage Conservancy signs the next time you pass one of Bucks County's gorgeous open fields.  I guarantee that within a few weeks you'll start to see just how much of an impact they have on keeping Bucks County beautiful!
