Pearl S. Buck International opens its doors to the community on Thursday, December 11 for a Community Holiday Open House at 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie from 6-8 pm. All are invited to enjoy complimentary tours of the 36th Annual Festival of Trees, where Santa will announce this year's winner. Twenty-nine decorating teams made up of interior designers, non-profit organizations, volunteers and community businesses converged on the Pearl S. Buck House to produce this year’s spectacular holiday experience.
The Lenape Middle School Acafellas and Acabellas choral group will sing holiday selections in the Cultural Center. Special guests also include Santa and Mrs. Claus who will announce the Festival of Trees winners. An exclusive Unity painting created by the high school leadership class will be raffled off.
The International Gift Shop is open in the Welcome Center from 5 – 7:30 pm. Proceeds from the gift shop enable Pearl S. Buck International to continue its mission of providing opportunities to explore and appreciate other cultures, building better lives for children around the globe and promoting the legacy of its founder by preserving and interpreting her National Historic Landmark home.
