But many of our favorite Bucks County businesses are rising to the occasion, providing safe ways to meet their customers' needs. In a time that's especially challenging for small businesses, let's show them our support. Consider shopping small the next time you're purchasing something. Here's a list of just some of the many wonderful local businesses that are offering online shopping, curbside pickup and delivery to make your life easier during this difficult time. They're doing what they can to help us, and they need out support now more than ever.


Shady Brook Farm (Yardley)


Shady Brook Farm is offering no-contact curbside pickup. Place your order online, using their order forms. After they’ve shopped for your products, they’ll call you for payment.  Call them when you arrive at the market, and they’ll deliver right to your car. Shop fresh produce, eggs, milk, coffee, deli products, prepared meals, Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream and more.

In addition to the farm market, you can shop the garden center. Flowers, berry bushes, fruit & veggies, mulch, and more. Get your garden and yard in tip-top shape while safely shopping online with curbside pickup. You can also have mulch and stone delivered.

Organnons (Wrightstown)


Organnons is Buck’s County’s largest natural food store, so it’s no surprise that it was voted our 2020 Happening List Winner for Gourmet Market. Keep your kitchen stocked by ordering online and then choosing either delivery ($10) or store pick up ($5).

Altomonte's (Warminster/Doylestown)


Altomonte’s Italian Market & Deli, a family owned and operated shop for over 40 years, is our 2020 Happening List Winner for Supermarket. You can shop in person during their limited store hours during this time, or you can let them do the shopping for you and opt for curbside pickup. Beef Jerky Outlet, Langhorne (Fairless Hills)


Are the kids eating snacks faster than you can keep the cabinets stocked? Do you need a pick-me-up when working from home? Beef Jerky Outlet has you covered. Voted our 2020 Happening List Winner for Specialty Food, this family owned and operated shop offers online shopping. Check the Facebook page for the latest deals.

Evolution Candy (Doylestown)


Evolution Candy is a repeat winner in this year’s Happening List earning the top votes for Candy Store. The shop is responding to the times by introducing a take-out window at its store. Call ahead and place your order and then pick it up at the window. You can also order from their website. In addition to candy and small gifts, you can also get to-go ice cream cups and cones. OWowCow Creamery (Newtown/Ottsville)


OWowCow, a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Ice Cream, is making sure you can enjoy the happiness that is ice cream! Shops are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for curbside pickup. Place your order online and pick up the next day.

Piazza’s Bakery (Levittown)


Piazza’s Bakery has been making great use of their Facebook and Instagram accounts lately, posting daily offerings and tons of updates on the how the store is handling the current situation. For the past few weeks, they’ve been allowing drop-in shopping in addition to curbside pickup. Starting April 3, they are switching to preorders with curbside pickup only. In addition to homemade items like donuts, bread and quiche, they’re not also offering fresh brown eggs from a local farm for $4 per dozen. They also just posted an Easter menu, available for curbside pickup or delivery.


Ellcie Boutique (Warrington)


Ellcie, a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Women’s clothing, offers clothes, accessories and more to make your days a little happier. Just because we’re inside doesn’t mean we don’t want to look cute, right? While the store is closed, they’re posting available product on Facebook and Instagram. Items can be shipped or dropped at your doorstep if you live within 5 miles.

Payton Jewelry (Doylestown)


Treat yourself, or send a gift to someone special during this difficult time. (Items from Payton Jewelry make perfect birthday gifts when we need to celebrate from afar right now!) This 2020 Happening List Winner is offering free shipping for a limited time. You can also purchase instant e-gift cards. Bambini's World (Doylestown)


Bambini’s World was voted our 2020 Happening List Winner for Children’s Boutique. You can shop their beautiful, trendy and comfortable baby and children’s clothes online while the store is closed.

Lovely Lady Bugs


Lovely Lady Bugs is a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Children’s Boutique. The consignment shop offers children’s apparel for infants up to Junior, Women’s clothing, maternity clothing, baby gear, and toys at 60-75% below retail prices. While their shop is temporarily closed, they’re posting available items on Facebook. Purchase using debit/credit cards or store credit, and then you can pick it up at the store (delivered to your car), or they can hold them for you until they reopen.

The Pink Daisy (Yardley)


The Pink Daisy is a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Children’s Boutique, but they sell a lot more than clothing and accessories. Their main focus is actually unique and special gifts along with fine china. Now through April 13th, they are participating in a Dishes & Donations Event. Receive 25% off and 5% of your purchase will be donated to The Covid-19 Meals on Wheels Fund. Plus, they are offering free shipping on all orders.


Serendipity Shops (Doylestown)

Serendipity is our 2020 Happening List Winner for Gift Shop. They’re using this time to embrace social media. Follow them on Instagram where they’ll be sharing sales on items that they never put on sale and offering free stickers with all purchases. Purchases will be shipped to your home.

Pineapple on Main (Dublin)


Pineapple on Main is a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Gift Shop, offering unique home décor and sweet gifts … especially for babies. You can shop online here, or message them on Facebook for help curating a special gift. This is a wonderful option if there’s a new baby in your life that you can’t visit in person right now.

Re-Urban It is a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Furniture Store. If all this extra time at home has you itching to do some decorating, they’re a great spot to check out. The mother-daughter business is known for refinishing antique and vintage furniture and home décor. Shop the website or take a look at their Facebook page where they’re posting often. During the time, they’re offering free local delivery, or you can pay to have items shipped.

Lori’s Funky Junk Décor (Lahaska)


Lori’s Funky Junk Décor is another 2020 Happening List Finalist for Furniture. The Lahaska spot has been posting pics of available furniture and décor daily on their Facebook page. Send a private message to arrange payment via Venmo or Paypal and then schedule curbside pickup.

Home Again Studios (Perkasie)


Home Again Studios is our 2020 Happening List Winner for Home Décor. According to their website, “Home Again Studios is about bringing comfort through handmade décor to your home so you can fully enjoy the best part of your day.” Shop their website or peruse their Facebook page for some inspiration. (Their handmade candles are a favorite.) During this time, they’re offering free shipping on all orders.

Ferry Home (Doylestown)


Ferry Home is a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Home Décor. Follow on Facebook for spring decorating inspiration. They’re currently offering 20% off all Easter décor. And you can send a private message or call if anything on the Facebook page catches your eye. Payments can be made over the phone and you can arrange curbside pickup. The Yellow Door House + Home (Doylestown)


The Yellow Door House + Home, a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Home Décor, is dedicated to making your house happier and serene. Qualities we need now more than ever! A Taste of Artistry’s Paint Studio (Bristol)


Located in Bristol Borough, A Taste of Artistry Paint Studio is typically open for in-house art classes and paint parties in addition to mobile parties. Since the studio is currently closed, owner Abbie Devers is offering “Paint To-Gogh” kits so that you and your kids can have some fun at home. Canvases are hand-drawn by Abbie and then delivered to your doorstep ($5 delivery charge within 15 miles). All kits come with paints and a brush, and she can do pretty much anything you’d like! The Doylestown Bookshop (Doylestown)


Instead of ordering your books from Target or Amazon during your mandated time at home, support a local bookshop! The Doylestown Bookshop can fulfill your online orders. Books will be shipped directly from the warehouse rather than being fulfilled by staff in the store. Your support will give the store the ability to open their doors again when the crisis is over.

Penelope Fox Art Studio (Bristol)


Penelope Fox is another Bristol art studio that offers art classes for children’s and adults as well as parties and camps. While the studio is closed, they are offering $10 kits that include canvases with a drawing to paint, paint and paintbrush. Choose from popular designs like GhostBusters, ballet slippers, sharks and unicorns. Or, request something custom. You can pay via Venmo or PayPal or use cash or a card when you pick up your kit.
