Bucks County’s Tiniest Borough Gears up for a Big Celebration

Ivyland Celebrates 140 yearsWith about 1,000 residents, Pennsylvania’s 2nd smallest borough is gearing up for a big celebration-  Ivyland’s 140th Anniversary this June! The good folks of Ivyland will be dusting off their party gear to ring in this historic event.

Sponsored by the Ivyland Heritage Association, the 140th Anniversary Celebration will take place – rain or shine — on Saturday, June 22nd from 12:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Ivyland’s Borough Hall will serve as home base for this fun-filled day with special events taking place throughout the entire town. Activities planned for the day include: rides on The New Hope Ivyland Railroad, guided history walks through the borough, horse-drawn carriage rides and displays by local historical institutions. There will also be live entertainment, yummy food and drink as well as tons of children’s activities.

The evening will culminate with a special outdoor concert by the Warminster Symphony. A more detailed time-line of events will be made available closer to June 22nd.
