On the Street: Bucks County’s Fall Fashion Trends

As the leaves start to change around Bucks County, you will start to notice a change in the fashion trends as well, so put away your shorts and flip flops and bring out your cozy sweaters and trendy boots. Popular 1970’s trends like, funky prints, exaggerated proportions, and overall comfort are creeping back into our lives this Fall!

When most people think of Fall colors, they think browns, yellows, and oranges. Those colors seem to never go out of style but according to Patone, the color experts, they predicted Falls trendy clothes will be filled with a range of beautiful earth tones to deep vibrant floral tones. When the temperature drops but it’snotquite cold enough for a parka, look into getting yourself a solid Fall staple piece… a Cape! If you’re thinking superheros, think again. One of my favorite things about Fall, along with Pumpkin Spice everything, is bringing my boots out from the back of the closet! Knee high, mid calf, or ankle, you can not go wrong with pairing any of your favorite outfits with them. Boots are not only stylish but they keep your feet nice and warm from the cool Fall nights.

Boot socks are a great way to give your outfit a little flare without overdoing it. Just layer them under your boots, scrunch them up a little, and just like that you’re an instant fashionista!

Shopping for clothes can be difficult and expensive, so why not go shopping in your own closet?! This Fall season the past is making a comeback. Chunky oversized sweaters, mini skirts, black flat boots, plaid, and flares! All of those forgotten trends are back! So dig deep into your closet and dust off those flares, match them with a button down plaid top, and pair them with a great set of statement earrings. Rolling up your sleeves will give you a more finished styled look.

Another great outfit to wear this Fall is a chunky oversized sweater, a pair of tights, and a mini skirt. The sweater will give you a sense of comfort and the skirt will make your outfit fun and flirty. Add a chunky bracelet or a large necklace to really stand out in the crowd!
