The Super Bowl showdown between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots kicks off at 6:30 PM on Sunday, February 5th, 2017. Some of you are in it for the football, and some of you are in it to socialize, and mostly everybody is in it for the snacks and some good beer. The prerequisites for a great Super Bowl out are really pretty simple… good food, cold brews, and lots of televisions, and we're lucky to have many great establishments in Bucks County.

In Central Bucks, consider The Jamison Pour House, where there will be pitcher and wing specials and where we were assured, “You can see the game on one of our TVs from anywhere in the bar because they're all around.

Stephanie's Sports Bar in the heart of Doylestown has seven 50″ HD TVs. We were advised by one of the friendly waitstaff, “If you’re hungry, get a burger or some BBQ and pair it with one of our bourbons or 36 craft draft beers.”

At the Churchville Inn the big game will be on all 9 TVs upstairs and on the 4 TVs downstairs. Check their Facebook page for Super Bowl specials.

Southampton’s Steam Pub has 8 TVs and is currently planning their Super Bowl specials. The Chili Cheese Nachos are gluten free, or try the Irish Nachos with a Guinness on tap!

Big Heads Irish Bar has four Bucks County locations: Bensalem, Richboro, Holland and Warminster. Prices are good, there are domestic beer specials, and the Richboro location alone has 15 TVs and a 1,600 square foot Arcade!

Just a few blocks from Main Street in New Hope there’s Triumph Brewery. While its not a sports bar, Triumph has a few large TVs, their own craft beer on tap, and a menu that features locally grown food and local products.

Right on the border of Newtown and Wycombe sits the Wycombe Publick House. Wycombe Publick has 5 TVs in the bar and 3 in their Dining Room. Try the Bucks County Bruschetta or the Publick House Original Fried Turkey Meatballs.

Newtown’s Green Parrot has a bright and spacious bar/enclosed patio with high def TVs on every wall. Authentic Beer Battered Fish & Chips are on the menu, and wings come in BBQ, hot, garlic hot, Old Bay or Chipotle Lime!

Isaac Newton's is also in Newtown Borough and was voted one of Bucks Happening’s 2016 Best Beer Bars. With 3 TVs and an extensive list of microbrews, bourbon, and foreign beers, this is a great place for locals to go.

Yardley locals sure love The Continental Tavern at the main intersection in Yardley Borough. With  9 large LCD screens. 9 draught beers and historic details throughout, it's a cozy place to grab a bite and watch the game. The Con Tav fries are a must!

A Langhorne favorite is Irish Rover Station House with 14 TVs that are around the whole building. Wings come in Mild, Hot, Turbo,  Nuclear, Hotter Than Balls, Gourmet, Sweet & Spicy, Smokey Barbeque and Garlic. Dry Rub Wings are available in Cajun, Garlic Romano and Lemon Pepper. The Rover has between 20 and 25 beers on draught.

Also in Langhorne, in the Oxford Valley Mall area, Millers Ale House got the most  recommendations from an informal poll we took via social media. With two different bars, 75 beer varieties, and a casual and inviting atmosphere it’s no wonder! Try the Zingers.

If you're going out in Levittown check out Murphy’s, Bailey’s and Pasquales Pizza and Sports Bar. All have good food and lots of TVs.

Bristolians voted The Borough Pub as their favorite neighborhood eatery, with a great selection of 20+ beers on tap, Try the Crab Wings or “Grundy Grub” Fries. There’s Shuffleboard, Darts and lots of TVs throughout.

Having a party or simply staying in to enjoy the game with the family or some friends?

ShopRite of Yardley has everything you’ll need if you’re entertaining, beginning with store-made guacamole, salsa, and homemade tortilla chips. Potstickers, ribs, wings and quesadillas, Mediterranean Veggie or Cheese Stromboli, Cheesesteak Onion Sliders and Buffalo Chicken Calzone are all made in-house. They are ready for you to heat up, and conveniently located in the front of the store. If you do feel like cooking, ShopRite of Yardley has some great ideas for a super Super Bowl DIY Chili Bar,

We hope you have a fabulous Super Bowl Sunday whether you're a Pats or a Falcons fan; whether you're staying home, going to your favorite pub, or trying somewhere new!
