Sycamore GrillThe rejuvenation of Sycamore Street in Newtown recently got a helping hand from restauranteurs Frank Agabiti and Joe Feraco who opened Sycamore Grill at the end of 2011. While the restaurant has steadily been building a reputation as a solid American eatery and relaxing sports bar, it is also drawing attention for it's great outdoor space during the summer season. After hearing several positive reviews, Bucks Happening recently stopped in to see what the Sycamore Grill was all about.

The Athmosphere:

Sycamore Grill achieves a dining environment that is comfortable without being boring, something that many restaurants struggle to balance. If you dined at Lilly's Cucina (the restaurant that used to be in this location), you may recognize certain features. However, Sycamore Grill has expanded the bar's atmosphere with several flat screen TV's to attract the sports fans. For those looking for a low-key bar that still shows the big games, this is your spot.

The Food:

Sycamore's menu offers up typical American fare that is prepared with care, such as hand breaded mozzarella and crabmeat stuffed mushrooms.  Main dishes range from casual sandwiches to Filet Mignon.  One feature to note is that unlike many Bucks County restaurants who stop serving food by 10pm, Sycamore's bar menu  is offered until midnight!
