WHAT: Teen Music Night

WHERE: The Doylestown Bookshop, 16 S. Main Street, Doylestown PA

WHEN: Friday, August 9th at 7:00 PM ET

The Doylestown Bookshop along with CB Cares Youth 2 Community Arts Series will be giving talented, local teens a place to perform in the cafe at the bookshop Friday, August 9th at 7:00 PM.

For the past several years, CB Cares has coordinated the Youth 2 Community Arts Series (Y2C), an initiative that provides CB youth with opportunities to showcase their dedication and devotion to the arts. Teens showcase their talents (dramatic, artistic, performance, musical, culinary) to audiences of all ages, not just their peers. Thus the name Y2C, Youth to Community.

Through engaging and empowering our youth in this manner, our young people feel a greater sense of connection and community involvement. Performance venues include: First Friday Doylestown, The Central Bucks Family YMCA, Chubby’s Dairy Barn in Plumsteadville, various township parks, The James A. Michener Art Museum, and numerous other locations. Y2C is made possible, in part, through the 5-County Arts Fund, a Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. This program is rich in community partnerships; we are always looking for new sponsors and venues for these talented youth.
