Kristin Smedley is a motivational speaker, advocate for the blind and visually impaired, author and CEO of the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation. After her two sons were both diagnosed as legally blind at just 4 months, she started a non profit for a rare disease no one ever heard of. Now, it's talked about around the world. She helped get the first ever treatment for blindness approved in the FDA and worked with our Congressman (Mike) Fitzpatrick to make history with the first ever legislation in Braille. When Kristin's not traveling around the country promoting her new book or speaking at large conferences, she loves going to her son Michael's gigs (classic rock guy!) watching the Eagles games with her son Mitchell, and doing Tik Toks with her daughter Karissa. She was a lifelong soccer player and still goes to Northampton Municipal park for soccer workouts every week.
“I believe everyone has an extraordinary purpose and it might not be what you planned for!”
