Back in 2002, Tami kept busy juggling a role as the Editor-in-Chief at Rodale Books, a job that required her to travel between Emmaus & New York City. Luckily, she had apartments in both places to ease the commute. At the same time, Bruce, a former writer, was living in New York City working in public relations on Wall Street. Little did either of them know that an email would soon change their lives.

While Bruce had been experimenting with online dating for awhile, Tami was new to the game. She decided to dip her toe into the water. After hunting through 200 guys' profiles, she would email just one, Bruce. “You're a writer, and I'm an editor,” she explained, “and I wouldn't change a word of your profile.”

Bruce & Tami were married at a church in Solebury, PA 11 months later. One email, one husband. Simple as that.

Shortly after, they moved to an idyllic house set upon 8 acres in Durham, a place they feel is like living year-round at a “weekend retreat” with accessibility to two wonderful cities, Philadelphia & New York. They both enjoy working from home for SparkPeople.com, America's largest diet & fitness website. Now Bruce, Tami, and their two children young children are busy living happily ever after.
