In 2015, Bucks Happening explored the rich past and exciting presented of Newtown, Pennsylvania in Newtown Happening. The February, the Newtown Historic Association will expand upon Newtown's history with “The Man who Built Newtown” on Monday, February 15th at 7:30 PM at the Half-Moon Inn, 105 Court St. (Court St. & Centre Ave.), Newtown.

The Newtown Historic Association has invited Jeffrey Marshall, President of the Heritage Conservancy, who will speak on “The Man who Built Newtown” – Garrett B. Girton. Mr. Marshall, is also President of the Pa. Land Trust Assn., President of Historic Barn & Farm Foundation of Pa. and author of the popular book “Bucks Co. Barns”.

The public is invited and refreshments will be served. This will prove to be a very interesting and informative meeting. No reservations needed.
