The 3rd Annual Bucks Happening List Red Carpet Bash

Hundreds of locals  will celebrate the 2014 winners, finalists, and nominees of the Happening List competition at one of Bucks County's biggest events of the year.

The Flamingos
Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville

Best know for their smash hit “I Only Have Eyes For You,” The Flamingos are still fronted by Terry ‘Buzzy' Johnson. Inducted to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Grammy Hall of Fame, The Rhythm and Blues Foundation and The Vocal Group Hall of Fame, Terry remains the musical and vocal arranger, songwriter, producer and first tenor. The Flamingos other familiar favorites include “Nobody Love Me Like You Do,” “Time Was,” “Your Other Love” and “Lovers Never Say Goodbye.”

Doctored – The Movie

Susan Stockdale
Southampton Free Library, 947 Street Rd, Southampton
10:00am – 12:00pm

Award-winning children's author and illustrator Susan Stockdale will visit the Southampton Free Library to do a reading of her book [u]Stripes of All Types[/u] and speak with families as part of PA's One Book, Every Young Child early literacy initiative. The book is geared toward preschool children ages 3-6, but the event will be fun for the whole family. Come join us for this great event.

4th Annual CR Runs for Babies
Council Rock High School South, Rock Way, Holland
9:00am – 11:30am

Join Council Rock in their annual 5k Run/1 mile walk/Zumbathon for babies! This event benefits the March of Dines, an organization raising money to save premature babies. Registration is at 9:00am and the Run/Walk begins at 10:00am. Running registration is $25 and Walk/Zumbathon registration is $10.

Bunny Hunt “Egg”venture
Maureen M. Welch Elementary Gym, 750 New Rd, Churchville
9:30am – 11:00am

Peter Cottontail has been hoppin' 'round the Bunny Trail in Northampton Township and he can't be found! You can help find him! This event includes a magic show, egg hunt, golden ticket raffles, donuts and juice and photo op with the bunny. $8.00 for Northampton Township child and $10.00 for non-resident child. Pre-registration is required.

Mother & Daughter Bash
Upper Bucks YMCA, 401 Fairview Ave, Quakertown
1:00pm – 3:00pm

Come join in on an afternoon of fun! Mothers and daughters (age 4 – 10 years) will come to the Y for a party and an afternoon of crafts, games, and snacks. This is a fun afternoon out so dress your best! Be sure to sign up early, space is limited. Raffle tickets are available for $1 each or your daughter's arm length for $5. Pictures available for $5 and includes a DIY picture frame.

Living History Theater
Pennsbury Manor, 400 Pennsbury Memorial Rd, Morrsville
1:00pm – 4:00pm

Attend the (reenacted) funeral of Phineas Pemberton. When Phineas Pemberton died in 1702, William Penn lamented that the colony had lost the ablest as well as one of the best men of the Province. Talk with family and friends of the deceased, hear the reading of the will, and place rosemary on the grave. Entry is $9 for adults, $7 for senior, and $5 for children (ages 3-11) at door.
