The holidays are here, and it's always a popular time of year to celebrate the season with food and drinks. Whether you're gathering with friends, family, coworkers, or a date, there are plenty of places in Bucks County to enjoy festive flavors and toast to the holidays. (Note: Many of these spots also offer catering! So you can let the experts do the work, and enjoy delicious food in the comfort of your home.)

Steam Pub

With festive menu additions, a fun casual atmosphere, and a great lineup of holiday events, there are plenty of reasons to visit Steam Pub this season. Meet up with friends for drinks and apps, get out of the office for a holiday lunch, make it a date night, or enjoy dinner with the fam. (Kids under 12 eat free from the kids’ menu every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) Steam Pub also offers catering for your holiday parties. Annabella’s Italian Restaurant

Lambertville Station Restaurant & Inn

Housed in a former train station alongside the Delaware River, the Lambertville Station offers beautiful views of Lambertville and New Hope, charming décor, and delicious food and drinks. You can dine at The Station all season long, but they also offer special menus for Christmas. You can dine a la carte on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with special menu items such as butternut squash bisque, fried mozzarella, roast duck, filet mignon, and holiday turkey with all the trimmings. Or, enjoy the buffet at the Inn on Christmas Day between noon and 8 p.m. Lambertville Station is a 2019 Happening List Winner and Finalist in multiple categories.

Washington House

The Washington House is joined with a boutique hotel and located right next to the Sellersville Theater, making it a charming destination for a holiday getaway. If you’re visiting for Christmas Eve, there will be a special lunch menu with your choice of soup or salad, entrée, dessert, and coffee for $26. Some menu favorites include New England clam chowder, jumbo lump crab and shrimp cake, filet mignon, and roasted chicken in a truffle cream sauce. (Separate menu for children priced at $12.)

Logan Inn 

New Hope founder John Wells originally established the Logan Inn as a tavern in 1722. It is Bucks County’s oldest continuously run inn and the only in-town hostelry on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s always a great spot to stop for a meal while out enjoying holiday shopping and other festivities in New Hope. For Christmas Eve, Logan Inn is offering a two-course dinner (plus dessert) for $65 per person. Choose from menu items such as pumpkin ravioli, braised short ribs, and chicken & shrimp carbonara. Optional upgrades include surf & turf, Delmonico steak, and a seafood tower.

Piccolo Trattoria

Piccola Trattoria offers authentic Italian cuisine with made-from scratch dishes, down to the pasta and homemade marinara sauce. It's a delicious destination any time, and they also offer catering. The Yardley Inn

The picturesque Yardley Inn offers live music on Saturday nights, brunch on Sunday mornings, and holiday specials such as a Christmas Eve Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 24 and Hanukkah specials from December 22 through December 30. The Yardley Inn is a 2019 Happening List Winner for Best Martini.

The Brick Tavern Inn

The Brick Tavern Inn, established in 1818, has a relaxed ambiance, warm and welcoming staff, and historic charm. They offer festive dining, special menus and holiday cocktails such as a Yule Mule, Sparkling Pomegranate Martini and Pom Royale. Dine on a Tuesday in December, and the Brick Tavern will donate 10% of every sale to Quakertown Cares to provide support to local families in need.

The Buck Hotel

The Buck Hotel offers live music, private rooms for parties, seasonal menu items, and beautiful décor.There will be a Holiday Brunch Buffet on Sunday, December 15th and 22nd from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will also offer specials on New Year’s Eve.

Black Bass Hotel

The Black Bass Hotel was built in the 1740s and was a haven for river travelers, traders, and sportsmen. The hotel once turned away George Washington, was the victim of a massive fire, and has since hosted many famous people. Although the hotel’s history is extensive, one thing has not changed – its rich tradition of fine dining and warm hospitality. And it’s especially beautiful during the holidays. Visit throughout the season to enjoy a wonderful meal with family and friends. On Christmas Eve, there will be a special 4-course meal from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for $99 per person. Menu highlights include shrimp bisque, jumbo lump crab cake, Charleston Meeting Street Crab (their signature dish), braised short rib, roasted Christmas goose, and butter run pecan cake. There will also be a New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Day Brunch.

Pineville Tavern

Pineville Tavern is now accepting reservations for its annual Christmas Day Buffet, offered from noon to 7 p.m. Priced at $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, this holiday favorite include appetizers such as mussels in red or white sauce and penne in a tomato cream sauce, carving stations with roasted turkey, rib roast, and baked ham, and classic sides like sausage and sage stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans with crispy onions. Pineville Tavern is open with a full menu on Christmas Eve, and also offers catering. Pineville Tavern was the 2019 Happening List Winner for Specialty Cocktails and Finalist for Best Appetizer and New American.

King George II Inn

As the country’s oldest continuously operating inn, King George Inn serves a side of history with its amazing cuisine. Located steps away from the Bristol Riverside Theatre and the Borough’s Christmas Tree, it’s a wonderful spot to visit for drinks or a meal over the holidays. La Stalla 

Beautifully decorated for the holidays, La Stalla is always a great place to visit this time of year. Special events this moth include Brunch with Santa on December 15 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Christmas Eve Dinner (featuring both the regular menu and Feast of the Seven Fishes) from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and a special New Year’s Eve menu with live music on December 31. La Stalla also offers catering.

Peddler’s Village

Peddler’s Village offers a wide range of eating and drinking options when you’re visiting during the holidays. Take in the lights and then stop for a drink with Chaddford Winery, Free Will Brewing Taproom or Hart’s Tavern. Balance out those Christmas cookies by picking up something light and tasty from our 2019 Happening List Winner Moku-Bowls. Gather with friends and family at Buttonwood Grill or Earl’s New American. Or, choose a holiday-themed meal at Cock ‘n Bull, which is hosting “What is the Deadly Dickens?” murder mystery dinner and breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 14 and 21.
