The 2016 Seventh Annual New Hope Film Festival will take place from July 22nd through July 31st.

Many of the 89 films are U.S. and world premieres. Countries represented include the USA, Italy, Canada, Turkey, India, Australia, Switzerland, Ukraine, UK, Kuwait and Brazil. There will be opportunities to meet filmmakers at the question and answer sessions following the films.
Films will be screened in two venues: New Hope Arts Center and the Stephen J. Buck Memorial Theater at New Hope-Solebury High School. The Festival is proud to be honoring Dan Rather with a Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday, July 31st for his outstanding contributions as a Journalist, Managing Editor, News Anchor and advocate of freedom of speech. Due to a personal commitment, Mr. Rather will make an appearance in the form of an acceptance video. The trophy will be presented to NHFF 2016 filmmaker, Laurie Nadel whose film, Dan Rather, Courage Under Fire will be presented at the “In the News with Dan Rather” show.
